Recruitment under sports quota in Income Tax Department

Income Tax Department, Gujarat has announced recruitment for the posts of Inspector, Tax Assistant and Multi Tasking Staff. This recruitment is only for sports quota. Income Tax Inspector: 2 posts
Tax Assistant: 26 posts
Multi Tasking Staff: 31 posts

Salary

Inspector of Income Tax: Rs 44,900 – 1,42,400 per month (Pay Level-7)
Tact Assistant: Rs 25,500 – 81,100 (Pay Level-4)
Multi Tasking Staff: Rs 18,000-56,900 (Pay Level-4)

Age Limit

Inspector, Tax Assistant: Minimum 18 and maximum 30 years.
Multi Tasking Staff: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.
As per government rules, General, OBC will be given 5 years relaxation and S, ST will be given 10 years relaxation.

Qualification

Income Tax Inspector: Bachelor degree from a recognized institute.
Tax Assistant: Bachelor degree from a recognized institute. With data entry speed of 8000 depressions per hour.
Multi Tasking Staff: 10th pass
